تاثیر بتادین در بروز کلانژیت اسکرولوزان در خوکچه هندی و مقایسه اثر آن با عصاره سیر و سالین هیپرتونیک

Evaluation of the effect of povidone iodine and Hypertonic Saline and Garlic extract in induction of sclerosing cholangitis in Guinea pigs

There are several scolicidal agents for inactivation of hydatid cyst protoscolices during surgery, but most of them are associated with adverse side effects such as sclerosing cholangitis and liver necrosis. The present study is aimed to evaluate adverse effects of povidone iodine to induce of sclerosing cholangitis in animal model.
Forty guinea pigs weighting 250-350g are using in this study. Chloroformic extract of Allium sativa (20%) were used for 5 min in the common bile duct, 0.3 ml of 5% hypertonic saline or 10% providence iodine or 0.9 normal saline are using in different groups.
After wards, the liver, the common bile duct and the duodenum will resected and immediately send of cholongiographic studies.
